Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a rally in Tarnol on September 8, following the cancellation of today’s event to avoid potential unrest.
Speaking outside Adiala Jail, Azam Swati mentioned that PTI’s founder recommended canceling the event to prevent disorder.
He emphasized that this decision should not be seen as a sign of weakness. He also mentioned that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will also hold a grand rally in Lahore on August 27.

PTI Grand Jalsa in September
The district administration has granted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf permission for the September 8 rally, issuing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the party.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur confirmed that the government has issued a notification for the September 8 rally, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will hold a strong gathering in Islamabad on that date. He further stated that the founder has once again shown his love for the country and its people by opting to avoid conflict.
Earlier, the district administration had canceled the NOC for today’s rally, citing the planned protests by religious groups, and stated that holding the rally today was not possible.
