It includes 68 selected subjects across more than 50 public sector universities, 16 medical colleges, and 131 graduate colleges throughout Punjab. Notably, top private institutions like LUMS, FAST National University, COMSATS, GIKI, and NUST are also part of this initiative.
Who Is Eligible for the Honhaar Scholarship Program?
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Domicile: Must be a resident of any district in Punjab.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be no older than 22 years by the application deadline.
- Family Income: The household income must be less than PKR 300,000 monthly (an affidavit is required).
- Enrollment: Students must be enrolled in a selected discipline at an approved university for the fall session of 2024.
- Academic Performance:
- Medical Colleges: At least 80% marks.
- Top Universities: Minimum 80% marks.
- Public Universities: 75% for Sciences, 70% for Arts & Social Sciences.
- Higher Education Colleges: 65% for Sciences, 60% for Arts & Social Sciences.
