Registration and Fees

While the VPN registration process itself is free of charge, the PTA requires a fee for whitelisting five or more IP addresses. This fee structure is applicable to companies, call centers, and video conferencing groups that require additional security features.

How to Register

To begin the registration process, applicants can visit the PTA’s official portal. The platform provides clear instructions for submitting the necessary documents and applying for VPN registration or IP whitelisting.

The PTA’s efforts to regulate VPN use are part of its broader strategy to maintain a secure online ecosystem for Pakistan’s digital economy. As the IT sector continues to grow, these measures aim to ensure the protection of sensitive data and facilitate smooth operations for businesses and individuals alike.
